The fried catfish was very good! It’s my favorite thing to get when eating out, and I’ll be back here to get it again. Fillets are big and have a thin crispy breading that isn’t too salty. I love leftovers, so the 4-piece was perfect. Twice baked potato and coleslaw were great too. Service was top-notch-thanks Jayden!

Jerry Neals is the best bbq place in Ft Smith, as well as one of my favorites in the country. I travel and regularly choose BBQ restaurants, and this one is at the top. Their beans are delicious. French fries are great. And the meat is great! Sauces are delicious! Come eat at Jerry Neals!

Tonight I had the pleasure of getting to eat at Jerry Neel's in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This was after a long day of driving. Jaedyn was my server tonight and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. Jaedyn greeted me when I arrived to the restraunt with a smile and was very attentive as I gave my order. After I selected my seating, Jerry Neel's is open seating, Jaedyn soon checked in on me and gave our table our drinks. While waiting for our food, Jaedyn would occasionally check on us and ensure all of our needs were met and provide an update on our food. She did all of this for us while attending to multiple other tables with families as well! Overall, I recommend anyone to go to Jerry Neel's if they are looking for good food (get the Twice-Baked Potato) and for service that treats you like family.

A staple in town for many decades. I have been eating at Jerry Neels for more than 35 years. Either lunch or dinner, and its all good. My regular for lunch is pulled chicken and a twice baked potato. Good size menu and food is always good. It is a no fluff BBQ eatery. Jake, Stefanie and the rest of the team always provide friendly service.

First time trying it and I wasn’t upset. Prices are close, if not slightly higher than most other bbq joints. I enjoyed the thin sliced brisket. The ribs were tender and the chopped pork was good, even though I’m not used to it. Sides were solid too.

My husband said it was the best meal out he'd had in fort smith. Loved the BBQ chicken, it was even delicious without sauce. I loved the fried shrimp and catfish the breading was perfect. The fries were some of the best of ever had. We'll be back .

I had the pleasure of dining in at Jerry Neels, I ordered 1/2lb of ribs with baked beans and a side of fries. Let me tell you the ribs were tender, the rub itself had an amazing taste, slightly sweet, not too salty just the right amount, their house made barbecue sauce was great, added a nice acidic touch to the ribs to balance it out, baked beans were cook to perfection, not over done like I’ve experienced, and the taste was phenomenal, fries were cooked to absolute perfection, crisp but still fluffy inside, i did not taste any old or burnt oil from them which tells me they really care in even the fine details in their food. Texas toast was crisp and buttered, despite having the amazing ribs atop they remained crisp. All this for only $16.70 with a soda. I would rather come here any day over Blue Ember, can’t beat the value, taste and hospitality they have here. What a wonderful experience!

Still pretty decent place for barbecue. I haven't dined here in probably 25 years. The twice baked potato was not quite as fabulous as it could have been or used to be, the ribs were definitely good. My server was very pleasant and efficient.
